Modern Church Architecture
"[T]he Church is the house of God, dedicated to his holy worship, and therefore ought to remind us both of the greatness and goodness of his Divine Majesty."
This building isn't a testament to the greatness and goodness of God. Rather, it reminds us post-modern trendiness, of lego-blocks with portholes.

It represent - quite well - the modern idea about christianity: something that man must embrace after death, not before...
ReplyDeleteLOL. I disagree strongly. Many churches claim they are the right one because they only read the parts of the bible they want to read and many bibles......Especially the KJV which both Atheist and Christians alike argue with but it's riddled with mistranslations due to the way Hebrew way of spelling things like that passage about *Thou Shalt Not Kill* is a poor translation that somehow got stuck but it actually means "Thou shalt not murder"
Deletehmm i like this building... ;)
ReplyDeleteWhere is this building located?
ReplyDeleteITs called christian hope and its in austraila
ReplyDeleteIt is in Vienna, Austria. In a section Called Danau City.
ReplyDeleteCommonly called DonauCity-Kirche but the full name is Christus Hoffnung der Welt (The Church of Christ, Hope of the world)
You should see the interior, the contrast is amazing. It is decorated with birch wood and it seems much larger from the inside than one would think looking from the outside. It is divinely peaceful inside.
So it's the inside that counts?
DeleteI think you found the world's most ugliest church.
ReplyDeleteI hope the church leadership isn't as sucky as the building as what causes the mindless robots is poor leadership which in that case can affect anywhere.
Bad leadership = bad followers.
Outside it's really awfull.
